Review the wording, then save.
Open a finished lesson in Review and switch to Edit to fix names or course terms. Select Save Changes before you download, because downloads use the saved text. Download one SRT per language, or all of them in a ZIP.
Edits change the wording only. If a line needs different timing, adjust it in your video editor after downloading.
Attach each file to its lesson.
Baian does not connect to your course platform. Check which subtitle formats your course player supports, then add each file to its matching lesson video. Teachable, for example, accepts .srt or .vtt files that you upload to each lesson video.
Teachable’s subtitle file instructions ↗
Keep the lesson number and version in each file name. If you re-edit a lesson video, make new subtitles from the final cut.
Test one lesson, then plan the course.
Check the allowance and current prices shown in your Caption account before processing the course.
Start with one short lesson. Check its subtitles in your course player, then upload the rest of the course with the same languages.
Common questions.
Can I upload a whole course at once?
Yes. Add several lesson recordings to one batch. Each file can be up to 300 MB, and every file gets the subtitle languages you chose.
Does Baian add the subtitles to my course platform?
No. Baian gives you SRT files to download. You attach each file to its lesson video in your course player.
Can I change subtitle timing in Baian?
No. You can edit and save the wording. Each line keeps its start and end times, so adjust timing in your video editor after downloading.
