Respect the speaker’s meaning.
Scholars have long carried Islamic knowledge across languages, with care for context, terminology and intended meaning. That responsibility shaped Baian’s approach to religious teaching and wider event translation.
Baian began with the khutbah, the Friday sermon in a mosque. We help Muslims follow teaching across languages and bring the same care for context to conferences, events and recorded talks.
وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَا مِن رَّسُولٍ إِلَّا بِلِسَانِ قَوْمِهِ لِيُبَيِّنَ لَهُمْ
“And We did not send any messenger except in the language of his people, so that he might make clear to them.” Surah Ibrāhīm · 14:4
Scholars have long carried Islamic knowledge across languages, with care for context, terminology and intended meaning. That responsibility shaped Baian’s approach to religious teaching and wider event translation.
Speakers switch languages, quote Qur’an and use specialist terms. Baian uses the surrounding speech to follow those changes in supported languages.
In tools that support Qur’an recognition, Baian can match recognised recitation to its surah and āyah. If a stored translation is available in the requested language, it uses that wording instead of generating a new verse translation.
