Planning your event

What should you plan for?

Bosnian in the Federation entity

The Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina names Bosnian, Croat and Serb as its official languages. This provision applies to the Federation entity. Its official scripts are Latin and Cyrillic, so ask separately which written form your audience prefers.

Baian’s Bosnian translation uses Latin. For a delegation connected to the Federation, specify that form alongside the language name, then check that invitees are comfortable reading it.

Bosanski selects translation, with buttons in English

The button says Bosanski, but the rest of the listener interface is in English. A guest can hear Bosnian audio or read the Latin-script translation. Joining instructions should identify Bosanski as the language choice and explain the buttons in English.

Bosnian audio since 15 September

Audio for Bosnian became available on 15 September 2026. The language is also supported for speech on stage, so a Bosnian presentation can be translated into other supported audience languages.
