Replacing the venue’s interpreter and receiver setup

Baian’s event team confirms that QIYADA in Doha used Baian instead of its previous human-interpreter setup on 25 and 26 September 2026. The booths were taken down and translation headsets were not distributed; attendees followed Arabic and English through a QR code on their own phones.

The AV team sends stage audio to a laptop running Baian’s live interpreter in a browser, through the mixer’s supported USB audio or a sound card. Attendees select their language and read or listen through their own headphones. The laptop and phones need internet. Keep translated playback out of the input.
